Protecting what matters: people, work, and the world
At Hydrowear, we make workwear that does what it promises. Safe, strong, and practical. At the same time, we think ahead: how can we ensure that the wearer is protected while reducing our impact on the world?
That's why we are constantly working on better, safer, and more responsible workwear for people and the environment. You get clothing that lasts longer. The clothing is safe and comfortable, and together we are making the chain cleaner and smarter, step by step.

This is how we make sustainability tangible.
REDUCING CO2 EMISSIONS
In recent years, we have invested heavily in reducing our footprint. We started with our own operations, which are now CO₂-neutral. This has been confirmed by the CO₂logic Silver certificate.
Our climate goals have been assessed by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are in line with the 1.5°C scenario: the globally agreed limit for limiting global warming.
OUR CSR POLICY
We have been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) since 2009. In this way, we actively contribute to the elimination of child labor, fair wages, safe working conditions, and a transparent production chain.
For us, sustainability goes beyond materials: we also like to invest in our environment. That is why we support local initiatives such as FC Emmen.
CLOTHES THAT LAST LONGER
We make clothing from robust fabrics and with smart details, so that clothing needs to be replaced less often. Think of reinforced knee pads or extra strong stitching. Always tested according to European standards.
When clothing does reach the end of its life, we focus on recycling and repurposing. To this end, we work together with the Internal link coming soon. Together, we reduce the waste mountain and give materials a second life.

Fair Wear Foundation Partner
Hydrowear has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since June 30, 2009. The Fair Wear Foundation is an independent organization committed to promoting fair and transparent production chains.
Our membership means that our production locations are regularly and independently audited. We continuously work with our suppliers to raise the bar: from better working conditions to a transparent and responsible chain.

Stronger together in sustainable workwear
Hydrowear is affiliated with the Green Gear Alliance (GGA). This is an industry initiative by manufacturers and brands that are actively working to create a cleaner textile chain.
This allows us to work together on goals that go beyond our own factory: fewer toxic substances, more efficient use of materials, and clothing that lasts longer. For you as a customer, this means: safe workwear, produced fairly and with respect for people and the environment.
